On March 6, 15MCC signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Northeastern University Design and Research Institute. Liang Lei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of 15MCC, Yang Qingchen, President of Northeastern University Design and Research Institute, and Mao Yu and Gang Zhanku, Vice Presidents of the Institute, attended the ceremony and held a discussion session.
Yang Qingchen extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Liang Lei and introduced the Institute’s development positioning and technological advantages. He pointed out that relying on the robust scientific research foundation of Northeastern University, Northeastern University Design and Research Institute boasts outstanding technological R&D and engineering design capabilities in fields such as non-ferrous metallurgy and the comprehensive utilization of mineral resources. The partnership with 15MCC this time represents an in-depth integration between technological innovation sources and engineering practice, which will facilitate the faster transformation of scientific research achievements into practical productive forces. The Institute is ready to collaborate closely with 15MCC, realize resource sharing in technology transformation, talent cultivation and other fields, and jointly enhance the capacity to serve the industry.

He stated that as an engineering enterprise with a profound historical heritage, 15MCC has accumulated rich experience in mining, metallurgy and other fields. Facing the new trends in the industry, 15MCC is actively promoting transformation and upgrading. It hopes to take this signing as an opportunity, leverage the technological advantages of Northeastern University Design and Research Institute in R&D and design, connect the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and jointly explore broader market space.
