On October 18, the Alatandaba Molybdenum-Copper Mine project—a “Project-for-Resources” initiative undertaken by China 15MCC—officially commenced construction. Yan Xuetao, Deputy Head of Arhorchin Banner; Wang Shaochun, General Manager of Xinfu Mining; and Liang Lei, Party Secretary and Chairman of 15MCC, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
Located in Bayan Wendu Sumu, Arhorchin Banner, Chifeng City, the project features an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons. Adopting an innovative “engineering-for-resources” cooperation model, 15MCC is responsible for the entire project chain under an EPC+O model, encompassing design, construction, procurement, operation, and sales. The project launch represents a significant step for 15MCC in implementing its development strategy of “rooting in nonferrous metals while expanding beyond” and striving to become an “industry-leading comprehensive mining service provider.”
15MCC will collaborate closely with Xinfu Mining, upholding the business philosophy of “Integrity, Professionalism, and Dedication to Creating Value.” Embracing the “Iron Army” spirit of “Getting Things Done, Making a Splash, and Delivering Excellence,” the company will meticulously organize, design, and execute construction to ensure project progress, quality, safety, and environmental compliance, aiming for early completion and commissioning.
Upon completion, the project will provide robust support for the non-ferrous metal industry development in Chifeng City and Arhorchin Banner, demonstrating the company's commitment and responsibility in serving local economic growth and ensuring resource security.
